Project
Description
The first phase of this
project transformed the landscape from a barren
gravely site into an aesthetically pleasing
residence. An asphalt driveway was installed
and fertile loam was trucked in and spread.
Ornamental pear trees were installed along the
driveway and lawn areas were hydroseeded. For
the second phase of this project we created
a deer resistant landscape design. The island
planting included giant western arborvitae,
gracillimus maiden grasses, little princess
spirea, ground cover juniper and bands of perennials
for added color. At the entrance to the house,
Vardar Valley boxwood were installed along the
existing walkway and plantings of fastigate
hornbeam, pjm rhododendron, ground cover juniper
and coral bells created layers in the landscape.
